Thursday, February 15. 2001: Montreal pitcher Javier Vazquez lost his salary arbitration case Thursday, leaving owners with a 6-4 lead with 11 cases still to be argued. Vazquez will get a raise from $280,000 to $2 million, under the decision by arbitrators Richard Bloch, Jerome Ross and Alan Symonette.
